Bay Area Air Quality Management District Annual Report
The Bay Area Air Quality Management District is the regional, government agency regulating sources of air pollution within the nine San Francisco Bay Area Counties. Our confident, progressive and forward-looking approach was designed to clearly explain to the public what the agency does and reflect the pride its employees take in both their work and the agency. The cover commemorates “50 Years of Progress” with a timeline of Air District achievements rising as a metaphor for air throughout the book.
The concept of overlapping and interrelated federal, state, and local air quality standards is presented in an engaging, transparent manner. Major spreads focus on Air District employees defining what progress means to them in the context of their work and the Air District’s ongoing efforts to preserve air quality in the Bay Area. The report was successful in providing the general public with a compelling overview and clear understanding of the Air District’s achievements.
