Bill has been a General Partner and Managing Member of RWI Group since 2000. He previously spent five years at Coral Ventures, where several current RWI Limited Partners were also affiliated, and was a General Partner there. Bill focuses on communications, enterprise networking, software and semiconductor-related investments. His investment, Board, and Board Observer roles have included: Arista Networks, Cierra Photonics, Integral Access, iReady, Magnet, Optical Solutions, Softface, Teltrend (Nasdaq: TLTN, acquired by Westell Nasdaq: WSTL), Turin Networks, Xporta and Zia Laser. In most cases his involvement with these companies has been extensive, including time spent as the initial CEO and then Chairman of Optical Solutions. Prior to joining Coral Ventures, Bill was a Portfolio Manager at Brinson Partners' $1.5B Post Venture Fund. He has also worked at Procter & Gamble in Cincinnati and Deloitte & Touche in San Francisco. Bill has an MBA with highest distinction from University of Michigan where he was a Time Warner Scholar. While at Michigan, he was also Associate Director of the University's Office for the Study of Private Equity Finance. Bill received a BS summa cum laude from Ohio State University.
