Applied Materials "Breaking Through" Seminar Invitations

The invitation series included a seminar program invite, cocktail reception invite and two save-the-date postcards. Our solution used the theme of "breakthrough collaboration" to highlight on the company's industry leading technological innovations achieved by dedicated teams. Silhouettes of Applied's people symbolically convey the idea of teams working together to achieve a common goal.
To express the concept of "breaking through," we created dynamic visual metaphors such as turning gears for "transforming technology," a burning flame for "fueling innovation," a launching rocket for "boosting efficiency," a leaping vaulter for "elevating performance" and huddling team for "working together." Diagrams of Applied's proprietary equipment were juxtaposed with the conceptual imager to create a meaningful point of reference for the technical audience.
